Dr. Hemeidi's office puts making profit above helping people. It's exploitative to gate keep preventative healthcare (covered by insurance) to squeeze money out of everyday people just trying to get by. I was laid off this month, meaning that my insurance expired at the end of the month. I made this clear when making the appointment with Dr. Hemeida (in-network) and my insurance covers Adult Check-Ups (New Patient) at 100%. When I got the "check-in" paperwork, the estimate was $350+.
