If you see her at Glen Cove Hospital, just know she’ll probably be close to an hour late for your appointment and act like it’s no big deal and that you should be grateful she even walked in the room at all. She is the only endocrinologist at this location so if you are looking to be seen quickly and efficiently this is not the place for you. This MD doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. She is condescending, rude and doesn’t even listen to her patients. She tells her patients that just by looking at them she can tell that they eat more than 1500 calories a day and it is simple math, in order to lose weight they need to eat 500 calories in a day. She doesn’t even want for the patient to do any tests because according to her just by her looking at a patient she knows what is wrong with them.
I found Dr.Jaimungal very rude during my time dealing with her. She barely would get back to me when things were missing, which would waste my appointment times. Instead of looking into retaining my labs and forms, she instead accused me of not doing them. It seems I had to do more work talking to doctors than she would. Jaimungal was the only endocrinologist that I could see on a short notice, so even though I was forced to continue working with her, I HIGHLY do not recommend you do the same.
She doesn't listen to her patients. Forces medicine and treatments on them without the consent of the patient. Do not recommend at all.
