Dr downs is my dr and let me just say she is nothing short of amazing. She takes her time and listens to me. I have severe health anxiety and my heart rate is always through the roof im talking 150bpm and she calms me down and creates a safe space for me. I dont feel judged. In the past other drs ive seen that would make me feel like something is wrong with me and would tell me I dont have anxiety and that I must be very ill to have a heart rate that high which then makes me spiral more. Dr. Downs makes me feel like I'm the only person in the room with her. She takes her time with me, answers my questions and goes through my test results so that I can understand them. She's patient and kind and doesn't make me feel rushed. Thank you Dr. Downs and thank you for having such a Great Staff. From entering to exiting, they make me feel so very comfortable. I have been seeing Dr. Downs for several years and have nothing but good things to.say about her or her office staff. I would still be going to her but I am moving out of state. If you need a doctor who listens and doesn't rush you she is definitely the one to go too! Her nurse callie is awesome and office staff I speak to the most Summer are always there to help or get me to where I need to be.
I have been a patient of Dr Downs for years and was pleased up until this point . I called this morning around 8am because of as of late sudden dizziness and nausea off and on and was told they would speak to the Dr about availability today , at around 2:30pm I had to call back myself only to be told by the staff that I had a bill due since my last visit that I wasn't even aware of and is now in collections and they have a policy once that happens they do not accept patient back into the office . I want to thank Dr. Downs for always giving me the info I need to hear and always able to help me figure out things.I had a heart attack in 2023 at 43 years old and it was tough to deal with mentally and physically! She was always there to listen to my issues and help me figure it out (and tell me what I had to hear and not what I wanted to hear)! I thank her and all of her staff for everything they do!!
