I'm now 2 years post visit with Ms Prager and surgeries to have an undiagnosed melanoma in situ. She diagnosed me with actinic keratosis, froze it and said I could see a plastic surgeon if I was troubled by appearance. I should have listened to my own instincts- a year later I was diagnosed with MIS and have had multiple surgeries to remove it and correct the resulting defect. Luckily. I've had excellent care since but the lesson is, advocate for yourself.

I had a virtual visit with this doctor through UPMC who didn't even turn on her webcam. She made no effort to diagnose my issue and was quite rude. I expected professionalism and sharpness from a healthcare provider, but this experience was far from it. Now, UPMC wants to charge me $250 for a 5-minute meeting that provided no value. It's shocking that UPMC allows such unprofessional conduct in their virtual consultations. I do not recommend this doctor or UPMC. I had visit with this doctor and I can't recommend her at all very unprofessional and unprepared. She is also rude and not patient which is an important quality doctors should have. I am sure she helped those before but for me this was the worst experience I ever had with a doctor in my life.

This provider is a nurse practitioner who specializes in dermatology for UPMC. I scheduled an appointment with her for my annual skin exam. She began my appointment on time. She examined the skin on my arms, legs, chest, abdomen, back, and head, and she concluded that I had no skin cancer. I do have many benign growths, and she offered to remove three of them during the same appointment. Overall, I feel happy with her skin exam and treatment, and I would be willing to schedule future appointments with her.
