The Gyoza and Tuna Tataki was fantastic. The sushi rolls were good, but lacked a little flavor. Overall, I think it’s a great lunch spot. My boyfriend and I tried enjoying a date night, and the drinks were not great. It’s much better for a casual dinner or lunch.

Ordered takeout (a Philadelphia roll and a Salmon Roll). They were packaged with a lovely presentation. They were also very delicious! There's a big photo of Sapporo Beer near the front door, and I asked if it is served there, AND IT IS. It's not Yebisu (they may have it, who knows? - will update after a sit-down experience), but it's delightful to find a place nearby where Sapporo is sold! ^_^

Is it worth the 20-minute drive from downtown? Absolutely. Their salmon nigiri melts in your mouth, and the spicy tuna roll has just the right kick—no overwhelming mayo like other spots. Service is attentive without being intrusive, and the miso soup comes out piping hot every time. Only gripe? The seating gets cramped during peak hours, but that’s a trade-off for freshness this consistent. Pro tip: their lunch specials are a steal compared to dinner pricing.
