I am not a good ole' boy - I actually moved here from Maryland a few years back and got into bee keeping. I have been a customer of Sapony Creek Apiaries for 5 years now. I have never had a problem with them. They have never sold me anything that I did not need, and they are extremely knowledgeable about their products. They are extremely honest and would not be in business as long as they have been, nor would the owner have the reputation that he has earned within all the beekeepers and bee clubs in the NC region. I moved to Rocky Mount 5 years ago and was thrilled to see i live just a couple miles from Sapony Creek. I mentioned the 1 pound jar of honey is twice the cost from what I expected to pay. The owner proceeded to explain a mistake in labeling and it was actually 2 pounds of honey. I took his word for it, but upon further research saw it was just a lie to make a sale. I never set foot back in there. For anyone making wonderful comments about them, the "good ole boy" attitude don't fool me.
