I went to Santina on the recommendation of a friend. I must say that it was an absolute letdown. The food was mediocre; what they call "ribeye pizzaiola" is called a minute steak anywhere else but it's worse at Santina. The waiter was alright, in a rush, but knowingly rendered the bill with an extra $50.00 added on. I tipped at 12% on the non taxed amount which was very generous. Attentive service, quality food and quality cocktails. Somewhat limited menu and they forget two items in the initial serving. But they did quickly recover. Fantastic location - at the base of the High Line and one block from the Whitney.
Phenomenal food and even better service!!! Coming back for sure!
Try the chickpea pancakes! The Guacamole was amazing a concoction of avocado, basil, lemon, tomatoes and nuts!
