My issue with Santina was not the price or the ambiance but the awkward service that ruined everything for us. We sat down and wanted to order an appetizer then have more time to check out the menu. Our waitress told us it was their policy to take the entire order at one time. We felt that since we were ordering drinks ($30, $15 a piece) and an appetizer ($20) and we planning on ordering dinner ($50, $25 a piece) that the restaruant should cater to our speed. Really disappointed - my husband and I were in the area, and I really wanted him to try the great breakfast there. We waited 45 minutes until the place opened, but were told when we got in that they couldn't serve us. The waitress told us the "kitchen was broken"- not only did this not make sense, but her story kept changing. Although I had a great time here a year ago - I'm really upset that they weren't able to serve any food - and I'm not trekking back in with Brooklyn to come here ever again.
