He also denied seeing me during my first appointment after waiting one and a half hours in the waiting room... I went back and was treated very nicely by staff. when the Dr. Calderon came in he stated he was "exhausted " I tried to make light of the situation and said jokingly " I hope I'm not exhausting to you. haha " He then said "you will be. Not in any of my past 32 years working with a iD Physician have I ever been told that I was denied to be seen for a first visit before now. I tried to setup an appointment with Mr. Calderon since I am not seen by any other ID specialist in Florida. I use Mr. instead of Dr. because any Physician and/or staff should at least be able to tell me some kind of reason that I would be denied services. Office started with another doctor in the hospital, but never told my father would need to follow up with new doctor. Office never called to schedule and other doctor never returned calls, because they were no longer seeing to his care. Now Dr Calderon is delaying chemo for more antibiotics, despite being cleared by other doctor. Hope this delay among others does not kill my father.
