Great Italian Food Santagelos Restaurant has great Italian food with moderate prices. It all tastes home made, and they have a wide variety of entrees to select from as well as appetizers and desserts.
Santangelos Restaurant is wonderful. My husband and I love Santangelo's. They have some homemade pasta. The food is fresh and well prepared. This is our usual "go to" restaurant. We always enjoy ourselves.
No fuss! Food was hot and well prepared, however, first try at there bread was disappointing,stale, not warm and soft with that nice scent that you appreciate. Filling of their dining room with tables was accomplished by cramming a two top at the end of the booths, which, lucky us, were seated. Had a lovely view of the flashing neon sign in the background from the strip mall across Old L-pool rd.
Wished I liked it better – I was a guest here last year and was brought to this establishment by a long-time friend. I have to say I was impressed by the service, the atmosphere, the decor but not the food. I'm sorry. I had the lamb that was on special and it was very greasy and unpalatable. My host spent quite a bit of money entertaining me and I was disappointed I could not rave about the meal. ten years never had a bad meal there. – I've eaten at Santangelo's for over 10 years now at least twice a month and usally once a week during the winter months. I have NEVER had a bad meal there and they have the best filet migon that I've ever had and I've eaten at many restaurants. Their house balsamic dressing is to die for and the wine list has never left me wanting more.
Disappointed twice!!! – We were referred by our realtor when we first moved to liverpool/syracuse, referred by the hotel we stayed at when we first got here, and later by others.
