Dr. Bob Dean is a world class surgeon. We moved away from the Santa Ynez Valley over 21 years ago. We continued to drive the nearly 500-mile round trip, for Dr. Dean's medical services for our pets, ever since. There is no finer veterinary practice than his.
I wanted to thank the wonderful caring staff at Santa Ynez Pet Hospital for taking such good care of my kitty after moving to the valley 2 years ago.they helped me manage her thyroid condition with in house testing, filled countess prescriptions, making picking up meds for a commuting fur baby parent easy. Put me at ease about putting an advanced age cat under sedation for teeth cleaning and surgery for a small growth close to her eye. Thank you for helping our baby recover from his rattlesnake bite.
Wonderful staff, thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable. We were vacationing on Figueroa Mountain when our French Bulldog was bit/struck by a rattlesnake and we rushed him to SYPH. They quickly rushed him in, examined him and gave medications within 15 minutes. The Vet techs were lovely and so caring. They brought in a blanket and encouraged us to lay down with him as would would do at home. Our boy was comfortable and calm throughout the hour that we stayed for observation.
