This is a “shout out” for Dr. Michael Rice who recently performed a somewhat risky sinus augmentation surgery on me, necessary to prepare me for a dental implant that he will install in a few months. The reason I said “risky” is because my sinus membrane is especially thin. Knowing the thin lining could possibly rupture during surgery (requiring even more specialized surgery), Dr. Rice and his assistant proceeded with extreme caution and skill; I was very nervous, but really felt that I was in the very best of hands.
