I was referred for persistent elbow swelling and charged $750 for a brief consultation where no meaningful evaluation or treatment plan was offered. I was told to either get an MRI or to “wait it out,” despite paying a premium specialist rate. Between the specialist visit, required X-ray charges, and radiologist fees, this single appointment cost me well over $1,100 out of pocket... for no actionable medical guidance.
