I have 24 years of experience in real estate and lending, I have never experienced an Escrow officer with such a greedy attitude as Nancy Hawkins Of Santa Clarita Escrow. She wants to charge a full cancelation fee for a service she did not provided. She even went to the extend of hiring a lawyer to defend herself for the complains I placed with the Department of corporations. Smooth escrow through them! Even though our realtor picked Santa Clarita Valley Escrow when we sold and then purchased a new home, I think they did a great job. I've heard nightmare stories regarding escrow and we had such a smooth escrow I couldn't believe it!! The staff was very courteous and professional when they did need extra paperwork, and they gave us plenty of notice!
