The dentist can be a scary adventure when you know that you are going in for work. Every time I walk through the doors for a visit with Dr. Al the smiles and greetings from the staff make me feel so warm and welcome. Couple that with the gentle and always sensitive and knowing hand of Dr. Al and it is the best possible dental experience.
This was a routine teeth cleaning visit. What always amazes me most about the Smudde office, is that they seem to know who I am when I enter. I don't even have to give them my name. During the cleaning process, Amber, the dental technician, would momentarily stop and inquire about my comfort. Although I had no problems, it was nice to know she was concerned and thoughtful enough to ask. I no longer relate problems to "...like going to the dentist...".
I showed up on the wrong day for my appointment and they still accommodated me, and fast!!! wow, who does that! Also, the staff is a real pleasure to deal with. This office should be an example to all other dentist.
Erin, the dental hygienist, is the reason I keep coming back to this dental practice. She is excellent. I am a petrified patient when I go to the dentist, even for a cleaning, and she puts me at ease and doesn't hurt me.
Everyone is very friendly, such a difference from other offices! My son said, "his cleaning was good", that's a compliment. Sooooo grateful for 6:00 pm appointments, no more missing school. We have found our new dental home....
