Im a proud graduate of the January 2012 class and I Highly recommend this course to any one who wants a good, fast, hands on, education. 2 weeks after I graduated I took a small vacation =) but I found a job in Santa Clarita, after one day of putting resumes out. I am not writing this review not to bash Santa Clarita School of Dental Assisting, just trying to make others inquiring about maybe going to this school to rethink their option. The dental office the school is operated by is fantastic and I would recommend any day, however the school needs improvement. They have a great idea of a school with a low cost but they do not teach you the hands on material you need to enter the work field as a dental assistant and the instructors get frustrated very easily and just take over the ta... read more

This school has made such a positive impact in my life. Most school are 9 months and over $1500, where as this school is a quick 10 weeks and costs less than half of what other schools charge. They even offer a care credit payment plan if you can't pay up front. Not only did I get my dental assisting certificate, but also my x ray license, CPR certification, scrubs, and my own custom bleaching trays that we got to make in class. I am about to finish my ten week course with the Santa Clarita School of Dental Assisting. I feel well equipped to apply for dental assisting jobs thanks to this comprehensive course! I recently received my Dental Assisting Certification from SCSDA, and could not be happier! In only a few months I had my CDA, Radiology license, and began a great new career. Right now I earn a little more than twice what I made before I entered the program. The girls that teach the classes are super friendly, and create a very learning conducive environment. I graduated from SCSDA Dec2010 and am currently working in a dental office right after graduation thanks to this amazing school!! All of the instructors and teachers are amazing and make this school a fun and exciting environment to learn in. You receive hands on training with real patients not just mannequins. I went to this school in 2006. I honestly dont know what I would have been doing if I had not enrolled. This school has opened my eyes to a career path I never thought I would have gone on. The instructors were so kind and very informative. They actually took the time with every student and helped them to achieve success. SCSDA is a cool school. I became a dental assistant in 10wks. When class was finished I didnt even want to leave, I wanted to keep on coming to class..that is how fun the instructors and staff make it. The way they teach makes dentistry so simple! I do not regret signing up at all because this gave me a career I had always wanted.This school is great for any person!

I attended this school, and I have nothing but great things to say about SCSDA. I learned so much in just 10 weeks. I am so happy I chose SCSDA because I wanted to change my life, and I wanted to do it fast. SCSDA has the best teachers, the best state of the art equipment to work with, and their staff is so friendly and welcoming. I had the best 10 weeks, and got a job right away!
