It was the late 80’s, I was 18, homeless, I heard a Christian message, was not a believer, got a hot meal, showered and slept in a clean bed, probably lasted a couple weeks and moved on. I am a Christian today, been married for 30 years and always remembered the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission, thank you for the help so many years ago.
I've been through 27 programs in the last 6 years and this will be the first one I've graduated from. my life changed when I walked through the doors of Bethel House💜
