Only 2 stars on Google!? Gotta set the record straight. I've rented here for about a year so maybe there's something I'm missing from not being an owner but I LOVE the highlands. There's truly nothing like it in Santa Barbara and I wish there were more communities like it - it would certainly help the housing problem we have the area. The condos are small but you can do a lot with the space offered. Plus, theres not just one, but TWO pools - one of which is 18+ which I thought was very considerate. worst ever management. i am not sure why we pay that much money, nothing gets done, except for promo fines if you leave something outside the door, or put a vertical container instead of a horizontal one for storage... no help when you need it .
