I don’t recommend getting sick, but if you have to do it then you really ought to do it in Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. I am so grateful for the wonderful doctors, nurses, all other employees, and volunteers here. Every time I have to come in, I feel so cared for. The new facility is gorgeous- I often feel like I am checking in to a five star resort.

Please do not compare yourselves to hospitals around the world. Real 1st world hospitals are FREE. Nobody is ignored insurance or not, nobody is left to die. For that kind of money I expect the best doctors, not good interior decoration. Very average.
My son was on the Children’s floor for 3 days after spine surgery. Let me say that all staff we encountered during our stay on the 3rd floor were terrific. All helpful, all nice and all eager to help. The nurses in both the PICU and Pediatrics units were Amazing and made us feel safe and at ease the whole time. The food was great and the hospital itself is beautiful. Thank you Cottage Hospital 🏥
Had all our babies there. Great staff! Clean rooms, kind people. Always available to talk or help us understand the procedures.

Had my sweet baby girl here and the staff was beyond kind. They really made sure I was comfortable and answered any and all my silly questions about being a new mom. Loved all my nurses dearly. Great hospital with even better staff.♥️
