I love eating in this restaurant but I had an uncomfortable experience with the waiter. While I was still in the middle of my meal and planning to continue (I even wanted more water), the waiter brought the bill without being asked. It made me feel rushed and unwelcome. I ended up not finishing my food because I felt so upset, which really affected the overall experience. I’m not going to eat here anymore:
We stopped at San Sai Japanese Grill for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The salmon bowl was so good and full of flavor, and the chicken bowl was just as tasty. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The sushi was honestly some of the best I’ve had in Portland. The staff was nice and friendly. The place was clean and had a relaxed vibe, perfect for a quick bite or a casual meal.
