My actual face-to-face with Dr. Sankar impressed me, but, his “Girl Out Front” did not. I found her to be a liar with an “I-don’t-give-a-darn” attitude. She doesn’t care how long you’ve been waiting and she shows it. Too bad for the Doc, but he chose her for the front desk. As for me, I got another doc…you will too!
Very unpleasant experience both times I was there. Very rude and unfriendly staff, unprofessional and unorganized, and the hour+ wait time should be against the law! Finding another doctor even though Dr. Sankar is good. His staff can make or break him - he needs to realize this.
Dr. Sankar very nice doctor. His receptionist will be the cause of him losing patients. She's VERY rude! Customer service is not her specialty. She needs to be in the back filing paperwork not dealing with phone calls. If it wasn't for Dr. Sankar being nice I would go elsewhere for a doctor. His staff is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please don't ever trust this office to fax a request for any needed medical orders. They don't seem to follow thru to even wait for a fax confirmation. Friday afternoon and I guess the weekend was more important. This office has no after hours coverage whatsoever! No answering service, can't leave a message. When did medicine become a Monday thru Friday, 9-5 job? Choose wisely!
His staff always tried to schedule appointments for three months out. I'm not elderly. I have no chronic conditions. I didn't appreciate trying to schedule appointments i didn't need. Then i requested a referral for a basic, annual exam recommended for all women. I was told that since he hadn't seen me in 6 months, Dr. Sankar would not provide the referral. He withheld a referral to try to force me to come in and earn him money from my insurance carrier. I've lost all respect for him.
