I have never felt comfortable at a salon, have gotten a lot of negative comments about my thick hair and no care put into it. Would wash, cut and partially dry it and had comments about how it'd take really long to dry. Thus I don't really go to salons to get my hair done. I went today and got a cut and style done by Sierra. She took her time and seemed to really enjoy her job, didn't complain about my thick hair and dried my hair all the way and put some curls in. I love this salon. Sierra does a wonderful job with my hair and, I also enjoy the clothing and jewelry. The prices are reasonable.

I have to say that the Sankalpa Salon is the BEST place I have been to get a style, hair cut, and color. Rachel and her staff know the current styles that make you look fantastic. I have found that it is difficult to find a good stylist for short hair, until now at Sankalpa. What I especially like is the fact that Rachel, my regular beautician, remembers exactly how I like my hair done, yet offering friendly suggestions. Sierra is an artist and a magician. I have never had better haircuts and styling in my life and she’s consistent. My hair is thin and the cut makes it look so full. Plus she’s a fun and sweet person.
