Dr. Oommen neglected to study the compassionate side of medicine. He is arrogant, condescending, rude and speaks to his computer, rather than the patient. When the patient was late to the appointment because the doctor scheduled a test and the testing site was late, he lectured the patient that he was lucky he was being seen...even though the doctor had been seen feeding his face just prior to entering - and the patient had had no lunch while hurrying to the appointment. Would NOT recommend!
Dr. Oommen was my Oncologist for my chemo and herceptin. Im grateful to him! He was great! And I'm still here 5 years later.
When the first time i saw dr oommen i was scared this was my first time but then after i saw him a few times and he talk to me he was for real and very up front and i felt very warm and trusted in him and i made it i love him with all my heart to any body
Excellent Doctor all around! Extremely intelligent and respectful! I am so happy with his care.
My appointment started at 1 PM. Dr. Oommen made his first appearance in the exam room at 1:45 PM and I was told that it could be another 20 minutes as they were waiting for results from a previous physician. He later told me that my feeling better after having 4 - 8 vials of blood taken for testing could be Psychological. I have seen several physicians relating to atypical symptoms and never felt belittled by any of them like this physician. I prefer to change physicians at this point.
