My older sister presented with a breast lump and it was unfortunately found to be malignant. I was unable to be there for her post biopsy visit with Dr. Kumar, but I joined via FaceTime. Dr. Kumar walked in and immediately told my sister and brother in the room to hang up the phone, since my brother was already there. They reiterated that I was their sister and wanted me present. Similar to a couple other reviews, my visits with Dr. Kumar have never been more than 5 minutes. Doesn't listen to your concerns, and very unpleasant to speak with. Im starting to think he only likes a certain population of people. Other reviews on here say he's great, attentive to detail.. my experience through a handful of visits have been quite the opposite.
My senior-aged parents recently returned to Dr. Kumar after moving away for a few years, and they are so glad to be back under his care. He is incredibly funny, kind, and knowledgeable. Both my mother and father are his patients, and they truly appreciate how thorough he is. He takes the time to really listen and always tells you the truth in a way that’s both honest and reassuring.
