Good food, good service, comfortable atmosphere, very reasonable price.
I keep coming back to this place every time I'm in the area -- its never failed to disappoint! Freshest catch. I had the grouper, wife had soft shelled crab. Both were great! Easy to get in and out of -- good desserts, fresh seafood. A must stop when you're in the area.

This is the highlight of any trip to Morehead City for my husband. The food is great, the seafood is fresh, the restaurant is very clean.
A must stop every time I am in town. I have been enjoying their fare for 35 years and never have been disappointed . Great seafood I can always count on them for fresh and tasty. Thx to all the nice friendly folks there.

Will be back Went to Sanitary for lunch on 8/31/13. Was a little skeptical after reading some negative reviews. However found the food quality, service and value to be as good as I have ever received over last 40 years of eating at Sanitary Fish Market. Will be back. If you want waterfront seafood dining experience then this is the place to go.
Hands down! The food was impeccable, the scenery is gorgeous and my drink was fantastic! Service was amazing!!!! If you haven't tried Sanitary Fish Market & Restaurant , you need to! highly recommendable!!
