Dr. Duffee is an extremely professional and knowledgable physician with extensive training and experience in Internal Medicine. He always places the patient's health and well-being as the paramount priority and genuinely listens to concerns. His staff are always courteous and helpful and have always provided what I needed in a very timely fashion.
From a medical student perspective who rotated w/ Dr. Duffee, the overall clerkship was very pleasant and stimulating. Dr. Duffee was patient, helpful and walked me through the pathogenesis and diagnostic approach to patient care only after allowing me to mine through my own medical knowledge. If I could leave negative stars I would. First off this man has been horribly unprofessional with members of my family during times of stress. His medical knowledge is lacking, any physician that states "if the clot breaks loose from your leg and goes into your lungs we can treat that in the office and don't have to worry about problems from that, where as an IVC filter has so many side effects if the clot occludes that, it becomes very dangerous".
