Atrium's phone system is HORRIBLE. I received a call from Atrium 5PM on Friday, I called back at 6PM and after going through three people I got to a nurse who could, or could text someone who could explain the purpose of the call. Their risk factor monitoring had identified me at a higher risk of heart failure. I was told to adjust my medicine and call back Monday morning. 1st the reception staff were extraordinary. They were able to move my initial appt to an early time twice so rather than Oct 2nd to Sept 23rd. The wait time to be seen by the medical team was minimal. I was evaluated by the finest cardiologist in the history of Charlotte's medical history. In 23 years no physician had ever used the diagrams of the body on their walls to illustrate just what is happening in my body. A plan was developed and scheduled.
