Dr. Bala is the quintessential Rheumatologist! She is detailed, thorough and extremely knowledgeable in her practice. She bases her recommendations on science, but still listens to the concerns of her patients. For example, she was willing to reduce the mg of a new medication she prescribed me because I was concerned about the side effects.
