It's a very nice hometown celebration. The board and all volunteers work very hard 12 months a year. There is so much behind the scene that no one realizes and it is all volunteer. Sometime Mother Nature doesn't work nicely but they try very hard to work with her. Yes sometimes they may make bad decisions but we all do. When they do they owe up to it and try to correct it. Hope Mother Nature works with them this year. If you have extra time notify the office and they will hook you up on how to volunteer. That's what I did.
What else can I say other then love it and have loved it since I was 12! A great value great concerts every year. I have seen Kenny Chesney, Brad paisley, Cole Swindell, and I was going to see Justin Moore there if it wasn't for the rain! So much better and cheaper then the state fair!
Just a vendor visiting but I was very impressed! What a good deal for families! Carnival rides are so expensive but by one cost the kids can go crazy. Way to go!
