About this business
Seeing the need for Authentic Italian Cuisine and Great Pizza in the South Suburbs, in 1969 Joseph Sanfratello opened the original Sanfratello's Pizza in Glenwood Illinois. From a small converted house that sat 20 people, Joe bought the neighboring properties to expand the restaurant which now seats over 300 guests. Here in Indiana...Sanfratellos is still king. Stopped in with a three year old coupon that I never used, for the Glenwood location. I miss that place. Your family restaurant still honored it. Some of the magic is missing.....But NONE of the flavor is missing here. Wish you could open in old downtown Lafayette, IN. I LOVE YOU GUYS. A FAN SINCE CHILDHOOD.
Great Place Great pizza, friendly staff and love the atmosphere. Very accomodating to large groups and reasonably priced.
will make the drive to Glenwood in the future Took family from out of town in for dinner---took 5 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant.Took 3 times to get CLEAN plates---it wasn't just a spot or two but so much sauce that the plates actually stuck to one another in their stack-our waiter was too busy watching TV and completely unaware we were attempting to get his attention...more than once--when the hostess was told how dissatisfied--we received only a "the dishwasher was told of the dirty plates"I don't like leaving... read more
Recent Party I just have to say my family was at this location for a party we were having recently and everything was perfect! The server was excellent the food came out promptly even for our large group of 30. Thanks for a job well done!
