Long story made short: Specialist sent me there 4.5 hrs, 0 zero care Frozen in waiting room Given Graham crackers and referral to Specialist.
The health department at Sanford emergency department missed alot of crucial details about my broken ankle. I had to seek another provider to see that my leg was also broken along with all the ligaments in my foot were also torn resulting in surgery that they said I wouldn't need. They put a splint on my ankle and would not let me be discharged even though they couldn't provide more care. Go to Avera ER if you need to go to the ER the ER is super bad with their training nurses. They also do identify issues usually you will go there and home still feeling terrible half the time. The bill is still coming though. I have a terrible time with getting care here each time. Couldn't get my vein ended just going home instead of getting my stomach pain looked at due to that
