I called to get a quote for a cam sensor replaced i was told it would be around $1000.00 told me the intake had to come off to get to it did it myself in 10 minutes and $30,00 in parts (used utube )

My mother in law was visiting from out of town and her cruise control sensor wasn't working. We brought it in on 2/12 and paid to have it looked at. She was told the sensor need to be replaced which was going to be well over 2,000 dollars and paid to have it repaired. Luckily they didn't have the part and made it seem like a big deal to get ahold of one so she decided to just take it in when she got home.
