Terrible vet! Would not recommend. My barky rottweiler was pooping blood and sandy hill animal is closest to me. They said they'd take her in. I waited a good half hour to see the dr only for him to get scared of my dog barking, and tell me to get out of the vet. Over my dog barking!! Of course dogs bark, especially after waiting in the vet, a new place, and a new person comes in. Do not waste your time or energy with this unprofessional vet. Such a rude person. Disgusting. No compassion.
Thanks for nothing Sandy Hill Animal Clinic hates Rotties, after letting staff know that our dog was not socialized much and would like to get him in and out quickly, they put us in a room for about 15 minutes, waiting while their birds were screaming and other dogs were barking, so of course when the door opens ( without a knock or other notification ) an 18 month old Rottie is going to see who's coming in after waiting in a strange place for that long. Best Vets In Town I highly recommend Sandyhill to everyone who wants the best care for their pets. I have known Dr.Anast for 28 years and he had been not only a great vet but a good friend through all my animals good times and bad times. I have known Dr. Jonas only a short time but he worked very hard (along with Dr. Anast and Dr. Fields) to try and heal my precious dog Ditka from Valley Fever. PS You're full of bullshi# Hi, I just read the comment from P.S.....I'm not affiliated with this clinic whatsoever....but I HAVE worked in this field for over five years....GREEDY? lol. Compared to some of the bills I've seen for similar treatments....95 TOTAL is a bargain...funny how first PS states the bill was 95, and then states it was the cost of meds alone....if you go on petmeds.com and put in 250 mg twice a day for ten days, yes the total comes to 8.00, HOWEVER this individual did not mention the size of the dog, the... read more
SANDY HILL ANIMAL CLINIC Dr. Anast and the staff @ Sandy Hill are fantastic! They've treated more than 7 of my pets (adopted and fostered) and have always given me the best attention, the best service, and the best outcome. I can't say enough about Dr. Anast. He really is terrific!
Nice...but GREEDY!! Went to see Dr. Anast today about ear mites...Dr. Anast diagnosed my dogs condition as a yeast infection in her ear, and not mites...which was fine. After a 3 minute examination, he prescribed a medicine called "Gentizol", which was also fine...then I went to pay my bill...it was $95. After leaving, I arrived home and researched the cost of a 15mg tube of Gentizol...$12.95. A 3 minute visit, and the medication for $95 is ridiculous. Take a look in the mirror please!!! Your complaints of greed, lack of compassion, unconcern for pets and their owners is BUNK. Aside from taking care of my pets for decades, I took a lost cocker spaniel there one day, in concern for her health while we put up fliers for this lost pooch. Not only did Dr. Anast give the dog a complete physical, and describe each and every ailment this dog had; he indicated the dog didn't have much time for all that was wrong, including cancer. Dr. Anast and his staff Dr. Anast is the best Veterinarian around. My husband and I have been taking our "kids" to him for 12 years now, and my in-laws have taken their "kids" to him since 1971. He is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever met. When our Lab-Collie mix (Molly) was very sick, he took her home with him so he could care for her overnight. He has even come in as early as 6:00 a.m. to accommodate our needs. He is trustworthy and honest. His professionalism and compassion for his work go over and above any... read more
Dr. Anast is like part of our family. We have been going to Dr. Anast for over 12 yrs. & he is the best Vet we have ever had. I am someone who can spot a phony a mile away & this guy is the real deal...he really cares. There is no way we would have gotten over the death of 2 of our dogs (from old age) without him. He is the best vet in vegas!
