Sandstone Care took my Sister in with open arms of kindness, grace and gave her a sense of peace she hasn't had in a very long time. The care she received will reveal itself in time. She did a 21 day detox and has proclaimed to never go back to bondage again! My prayers are that the Lord keeps her close to Him and that her words manifest. Overall I had a really good experience at Sandstone Colorado Detox center. The counselors were all very knowledgeable, helpful and understanding of the issues I had and was going to face upon leaving their center. If you do choose this location and don’t live in Colorado like I did it’s 1 hour from the airport so make sure they have someone there pick you up.

We were lied to. We were told all clients were 18-30 when in fact the majority were in their 50-60’s. We were told there was a gym and activities…kindergarten arts and crafts are not appropriate activities for adults. As a therapist I’m appalled at the therapeutic intervention my son received by interns younger than him, convincing him he hated his parents. Zero evidence based trauma work even though that was promised. No aftercare plan other than spend more money at another one of their other residential facilities. The gro... read more

I found Sandstone to be a small, personalized and compassionate detox and recovery facility. The staff there treated me with knowledge, respect and kindness. I was struggling with a decade of dependence on Rx meds, including Xanax, accompanied with severe alcohol abuse. My detox was brutal and only possible due to the compassionate care of Savannah and the rest of the medical staff. The staff was absolutely amazing and uplifting. I highly recommend working with Sandstone for after care as well. They offer evening IOP, EOP, and GOP. Detox got me sober but sticking with the program kept me sober. It’s been rocky but they have never given up on me in my journey.
