There was a clear lack of care and communication in the Emergency Department. The staff appeared disengaged, more interested in their phones than in providing proper assistance. It felt as though they preferred patients to leave so they could return to their personal activities.
Maternity ward at Sandringham has the most lovely midwives, nurses and doctors. I’ve now had 2 children here and both times it has been an amazing experience. Although the building is older, the care all the midwives and nurses have tops it. They are so accomodating and understanding and nothing has changed between the 2 years of having both my daughters. All my appointments prior to giving birth were always quick easy and efficient as well! I had a planned c section and the way it was so smooth and organised was a great fee... read more
