Dr. Sandy is my go-to primary care physician. She's smart and extremely well connected to the medical community -- she knows everyone and has a keen diagnostic eye to match up your needs with the right specialist if required. When a consult is called for, she's got that other doctor's cell number in her phone and gets them up on the line right then and there. Cuts through a lot of red tape. She's a find in today's world of institutionalized, insurance driven medicine. And a great front desk headed by Lyndsey.
Amazing Doctor, Confident and funny, Old Soul. Dr Gelbard takes care of my children, my parents and my siblings. We all love her and consider her part of our family. Dr Gelbard saved my life. I chose her as my GP on recommendation by another doctor. What first attracted me to her is her dedication to her patients. There is never a back-up in her waiting room so you never feel rushed. She takes the time to exam you as well as listen to your concerns as well as your needs. Amazing, Kind and Real – I initially went to Dr Gelbard after reading the book Mrs Astor Regrets and hearing how much she did for New York City's Beloved Brooke Astor. Best doctor – I met Dr Gelbard after reading her reviews on this web site. I have to say that I have never felt compelled to write a review for any doctor till I met her. Great Internist, Best in New York – i had been to multiple "specialists" in nyc but it wasn't until I went to Dr Gelbard that I was offered a comprehensive understanding of what my medical issues were.
