Beautiful clean office, friendly and efficient staff, Marissa was awesome, service with a smile. Dr has great bedside manner, prompt and knowledgeable.
I had a very bad experience with this surgeon. On June 7th of 2024 I went into Edinburg Regional to have my gallbladder removed. I underwent a single robotic cholecystectomy. After the surgery I was discharged. On June 8th I was having severe pain and my daughter took me to an ER clinic. I was taken by ambulance back to Edinburg Regional. To make a long story short, Dr. Esquivel punctured my intestine and had to have surgery to correct her error. My mother went for a gallbladder removal and something went wrong. My mother has been in the hospital for a month in a half. I do not trust her to perform any more surgeries on my mother.
She performed a low risk surgery on my mom and punctured something else. She had to do surgery again to fix what she messed up. My mother suffered a lot, it was horrible seeing her intubated in the ICU, struggling to breathe and in a lot of pain. I'm reading other people's reviews and makes me wonder a lot of things. From an outpatient surgery my mother was hospitalized about 30 days.
I was referred to Dr. Sandra Esquivel by my physician at the Kaizen medical group. Let me start off by saying, for my first quick out patient minor surgery procedure, it was a very comfortable experience. The staff was very kind and attentive to every need or question I had. I definitely do not regret being referred to this clinic and will definitely be returning for my second lipoma removal procedure!!!! Thank you for everything Dr. Esquivel and team!!!!
