Dr. Sandor is a excellent pediatric dentist. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and caring. My son has been a patient of Dr. Sandor's for over 12 years and always enjoys his dental appointments because of her compassionate and caring nature. Dr. Sandor is very skilled at performing root canals, removing teeth, filling cavities, and applying sealants to protect teeth. Dr. Sandor and staff are amazing, BUT they have gone concierge. This means that they DO NOT ACCEPT ANY DENTAL PLANS. I knew this and have Aetna. My four children loved going to the dentist. They fill out the claim forms and give you a self-adressed stamped envelope to mail and file the claim yourself, AFTER you have paid up front. Which for 4 children came to over $700.00 and some change. Unfortunately, our insurance did not agree with what was charged and we did out about $160.00.
My son has been going to Dr. Sandor for over 6 years. He had 6 baby teeth extracted over the six years, as ordered by the Orthodontist. He had a cavity when he was five. This translates into 4 visits requiring anesthesia. Dr. Sandor is very gentle and kind with my son. Her sweet voice was very calming. I am very happy with her expertise and the care my son has been given.
The office staff is very unprofessional. Scheduled appointments are always changed at the last minute. Most recently, the day before the appointment, even though I had previously confirmed twice with the original time scheduled. The person I was speaking to never apologized for the mix up or inconvenience, and expected me to rearrange my schedule. She deliberately, rudely hung up on me. For being a pediatric dentist, one would think later hours would be available to students.
She is the most considerate woman with my daughter. She really goes out of her way to help you and your baby feel comfortable. The girls that work there are friendly, even with all that's going on around them they continue to smile! Great Experience!
