I was assigned to stay at Sandman because of a fire. I am very thankful to the emergency social services for having this protocol to assist people in this situation. I empathize my other neighbours in this difficult situation. The front desk and the manager Khaled received us in a warm way.

we were involved in the structure fire on 36th street on wednesday march 25. emergency social services sent many of the displaced residents to the sandman as we were evacuated from our apartments. the man at the front desk, i believe his name was khalid, was so utterly disrespectful to everyone involved in the fire. he refused to give a disabled woman a handicap room until she contacted ESS and red cross herself and only after red cross contacted the hotel did he decide to give her the room she NEEDED. as we were leaving he ... read more

Just had a bad experience with the front desk guy Khaled I believe is his name he is bald and has glasses. Anyways stayed here last night from emergency services because I was evacuated from my home due to an apartment fire.
