I was staying in the city this time to do a working at heights training course for a routine refresher. I am a miner by trade and must do this every couple years. My room unfortunately wasn’t ready on time because of cleaning delays. The service representative at the front desk was really accommodating and gave me a voucher for dinner in one of the restaurants attached to the hotel. Chops is one of my favourite places to eat. My check in process almost sent me into a hospital admission after paying in full online and given a email back saying NO MORE FEES REQUIRED during your stay I went to check in where they had asked for $100 dollar deposit for 2 nights on a credit card which I DONT HAVE the manager didn’t care I was by myself and kept telling me it was MY PROBLEM and NOT HERS…I offered her cash for the deposit and it was refused I offered on my debit Mastercard and she said it would jump to $300 instead of $100 she refused to work with me ver... read more
