I've stayed at several Sandman properties. I found out this is a corporately owned hotel, and the corporation, should bulldoze this place, or, at a minimum, close it down for a year or 18 months, take the entire building down to the studs in every single location, and renovate it. I'm certain it could be depreciated to the benefit of the company. So far, I've told dozens not to stay there. In absolutely certain I'm not the only one! Disappointing doesn't cover it. Brutal? Abomination?

Lynn was very helpful and caring. We were in town for the final moments of a loved one who was in hospice and it was so nice to have someone like Lynn helping us with getting a room and checking in with some caring words.

Hotel is old but was clean. Service was sub-par. Unfortunately the smoke alarm in our room kept going off randomly in the middle of the night. I had to completely unplug it from the celing and remove the battery to make it stop. There was no appology or offer of any sort of compensation. They seemed to imply it was somehow our fault it was going off while asleep at 230 in the morning... I'll be staying elsewhere on our next visit to town.

We loved the location. It is close to everything we were interested in checking out. The rooms were clean but dated. The pool and hot tub were inside so it didn't matter the weather. ( another reason we stayed here in may) Our room was close to one of the back doors and the smoking area outside. We heard that door slam every single time someone left or entered the building. We also heard anyone talking at the smoking area. Either then that it was a pleasant experience.
