Ok place to stay. It is clean and comfortable. Rooms can be a bit noisy.
Not sure why it’s only a 3.8. My experience was great. 5 stars for me. Never stayed at a Sandman hotel before. What a great place and a great price! Wish there were more! The front desk lady was very nice and accommodating (don’t remember her name but a nice Asian lady). Anyway, I was on a motorcycle and wanted a room with outside access (u don’t have it) so she gave me 102, great room right by the exit. Couldn’t have been better. It’s great to see Sandman Castlegar starting to upgrade their rooms. Upon checking in, Marie was a gem. Very welcoming and shared some laughs. By far my favourite associate with this chain. Thanks Marie
