This was a horrible experience for me and I regret choosing this builder. Even my relator said it was one of the worst build processes that she has ever seen, which was marked by errors from their agent. I just did the end of the first year inspection. The independent home inspector gave a list of items that needed repair. The builder rejected 2 of the major items stating that they were in the minimal acceptable ranges. Buy as is and nothing else. We love the lot (neighborhood) but not the model/plan they are selling then we try to comprise the house with some requests: 1. Different Plan (plans offer from other community) - no can't do 2. Add addition half bath - no can't do 3. Extend patio - no can't do 4. Change patio doors/windows - no cant' do. The bottom line is with this builder. You can't not change anything that involve a city/county permit change. if you are building your dream house, this is not a builder ... We bought a new home from Sandlin Homes in 2017. Ever since then there has been nothing but problems- small and big. We decided to buy a new custom home because we did not want to deal with old homes problems yet we’ve run into nothing but problems with this house.
