A classy brand in terms of flash drives and SD cards but their SSDs are often considered to be mediocre. An independent company from 1988 (its founding) to 2016, the company was a subsidiary of WD from 2016 to 2025, then it became an independent company again. They are also the inventors of flash memory itself.
Absolutely horrible customer service. I bought a Sandisk Pro Blade 2 TB drive and it broke within 10 days. I sent it in to Sandisk to get a quick replacement and it took 20 days for them to send me the wrong product which was addressed to an entirely different customer in New york. So I call in to try to fix the situation and weeks later they still havent sent me the correct product or even tried to fix this situation.
