In my opinion, Dr. Burbano embodies some of the more complicated parts of mental health industry. As a Black woman with ADHD, I’ve fought long and hard to be believed and taken seriously as a patient, only to be let down by various individuals. Unfortunately, Dr. Burbano’s practice is no exception to this rule. While this isn’t a slight against her expertise or skillset, she is very strict about payments and timely appointments. I’ve been searching for a kind, caring, professional and extremely supportive physician -Dr. B for years. She truly listens, is absolutely patient centered-a real rarity in Albuquerque (or anywhere). I would give her a 10+ if the Google scale allowed.
