My mother is a resident. We were assured every precaution was being taken to keep the residents safe. No one was allowed in or out since early March. Staff was being tested regularly. In late July they asked for permission to test residents. Moms test was negative. Every time we ask we are assured no one has COVID-19. Last Sunday mom became very lethargic. She was transported to the hospital and immediately tested for Covid-19. Positive. She has had 2 more tests. All positive. How has this happened? Why have they not notifie... read more
A family member is currently in this facility, and due to COVID-19 we are unable to visit in person. We have brought masks, however continue to be told the director is not allowing the nurses to use the masks we provided (where did they go?). The nurses are having to use paper masks for A WEEK STRAIGHT, which is against CDC protocol. Every time we inquire with the director, she denies this. We have visited three times now (through a window), and the nurses DO NOT have masks or gloves. This is completely unsafe for all reside... read more

Love this place. Very friendly staff and clean facility.
I cannot recommend Samdhill Gardens highly emough! Their staff treats every resident like they are their own family. My Dad lived there for 5 years.
