We had a nightmare of an experience with Sandcastle. I don’t usually post negative reviews because I don’t like to mess with people’s livelihoods. But consumers need to be aware of how terribly run this company is. We requested they try to rebook our rental due to Covid (we had high risk individuals in our group.) They never made our house available to rebook despite us asking them numerous times! They are shady and unscrupulous. Do not use this company.
RecommendedMy family and I have been going to Bethany for well over 25 years and have been using Sandcastle Realty for several years. I cannot say enough nice things about them and especially Michele Hineline. Vacations are so much nicer when dealing with professionals.
Sandcastle has been handling management and rental of our beach property for 10 yrs. We have always been happy with their friendly and competent service.
I have a rental coming up in June and I need more guidance from your office. I have tried calling the office for 2 months with no response. I have emailed my agent multiple times, used the contact page multiple times, and have taken to calling random agents and leaving messages asking for a call back. Nothing. I totally get this is a crisis, but your office number says you are working from home and that you will call back. In my desperation, I am giving you a bad review to see if that somehow gets someone's attention.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rented last year with them and it was perfect and lovely!! House was short walk to beach, clean and fresh. My family loved it❤️ can’t wait to get there again, hopefully this covid19 will be finally over and we can be together again!!
Would have rated this ZERO if I could have. This was the worst rental experience we have ever had--and we rent multiple houses a year. From the reservation and payment process (they lost our payment multiple times) it only went downhill. We arrived to a barely cleaned house that was INFESTED with cockroaches. Roaches running all over the counters, in the cabinets, on the dishes, floors, everywhere. There was a newish fridge in the kitchen that wasn't working correctly so a lot of our food went bad. Rented a very expensive beach house for the weekend. Hot tub was disgusting grill was filthy and both propane bottles were empty. Screen door was broken and fell out every time to get out onto the deck. Will not use again.
