Anyone checking reviews of Sandcastle Realty should note that they are not responsive to problems, and only respond to positive statements. We have rented homes for 25 years, including one from Sandcastle 23 years ago, and they have been amazing, beyond our expectations, spotless. **BEWARE** do not rent from this horrible slum lord. The house we are currently in should be condemned. There is black mold and mildew all over the screened in porch. The washer does not work. The oven only partially works. The dishwasher runs for 4 hours and barely cleans. Everyone is allergic to this dump. My 86 year old grandmother has a lung condition and cannot stop coughing and using her inhaler in this house. RecommendedIf I could give Sandcastle Realty 10 stars, I would. My parents are celebrating their Anniversary this week and when I called to make arrangements for flower and champagne delivery, Sharee was beyond accommodating (despite not usually providing these services). She recommended a florist (the arrangement came out beautifully), picked up a bottle of champagne and delivered to the house prior for my parents arrival. Unfortunately they didn't notify us of beach the replenish program back in 2018 nor offer us anything for our inconvenience. They stated any refunds would come from the homeowner, NOT. No worries, our kids puked on the couch... — with Gary Glynn.
We rented 504 North Ocean in South Bethany - it was a terrible experience. The online pictures of the home appeared to be from 10 years ago. When we got into the rental we found a home that was dated and clearly not cleaned or well maintained. The beds were completely uncomfortable with one that bent in half even with two people laying on either side. The air vent filters were full of dirt and badly needed replacement.
