The Sand Dollar Motel is a small family owned motel.We are on the beach side with a short walk to the beach.Quiet and safe area. Mile and half to main intersection of Atlantic Beach. We have regular rooms with 1 or 2 double beds.All rooms have a small fridge and coffee maker. We also have apartments with full kitchens, separate bedroom. Great for families. We try our very best to make our guest comfortable and enjoy their stay with us. We have clean and affordable rooms with a family atmosphere. Sorry no pets!

Great experience. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Great location in proximity to beaches and dining options for all budgets.
I stayed there last year and was charged a deposit and played the rest when I got there. Decided to stay there again this year and the idiot manager charged me for the full price of the stay which was $400 for 3 nights and screwed me up with my bank and I don't have the money to pay my truck payment on time. Will not be staying there again
We stayed here last year and had a decent experience. This year however a completely different situation. They refused to work with any of us in our group in regards to canceling with a tropical storm warning being issued. We were even willing to move our reservations to another time and they would not do so without charging $20 fee(1/3 of room rate) to do so. You would think being located in an area prone to storms they would be a bit more flexible when it comes to these situations. We will not return.
We thought it was closer to the beach, not their fault at all, there was like 4 places to park down by the beach, but they were always full. Room was super clean and cute. We would stay again.

This is a very nice run motel, the couple that run it are very friendly and nice. Our room was very nice and clean. It is nice and quiet, all the guests there were friendly and had fun talking go all of them.
Great hotel beds were hard but otherwise enjoyed my stay
