Sanctuary was such a supportive place for me. The program gave me the tools I needed to move forward, and the care and guidance I received helped me get back on my feet. The staff really care about the people they work with—Morgan and Anthony in particular went above and beyond to make sure I felt heard, supported, and encouraged throughout my time there. I’m very grateful for the experience and would recommend it to anyone who needs help.

Sanctuary is a nice place to be if you struggle with mental illness(as I do), or substance abuse as well. The staff are very kind and caring and my therapist(Jessica iirc) was very supportive and helpful. The outings were also fun, it is in a nice area with restaurants and grocery stores close by. It is unfortunate that my time here had to be cut short due to disability income issues but they did their best to set me up for success while I was there. Thank you for your help Sanctuary (⁠人⁠⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)

I was at Sanctuary during the first week they opened. I was learning, and so were they—there were growing pains on both sides. Looking back, the care and support they offered were truly outstanding. Sanctuary did everything they could to make us feel like members of the wider community, not just patients—or “guests,” as I liked to say. Beach outings, ice cream runs, trips to the gym, equestrian therapy, and even small walks to McDonald’s were some of the ways they created moments of joy and normalcy in our daily lives. There are if course some problems with how it's run, like over working the small staff, but that's just what the mental health work place is right now in Florida unfortunately. Other than that I felt only welcome and listened to- I felt safe and taken care of, and I feel incredibly lucky to have met these people and experienced them in my life, even if it was only for a bit. The only complaint I have is how small the space is but I don't know how much control they have over that. Love y'all<3
